Survey Invitation

Are you a cook, director, or educator that creates menus for your child care centre or day home?

The same team that brought you the Nourishing Beginnings: Supporting Young Eaters module is developing a menu planning module that will include practical tools to meet children’s nutrition needs and align with the 2019 Canada’s Food Guide. Before we start creating content, we want to hear from those involved in menu planning about what should be in a menu planning tool.

Our process includes two rounds of feedback with the aim to identify areas of consensus and areas requiring further development for the subject matter at hand. In round one of the survey (in November 2021), a list of recommended statements for a new menu planning tool were provided for ranking, review, and recommendations. Below is our current request:

In round two, revised recommended statements will be provided for your review. You will also be able to suggest edits for each statement.
Following this process, areas of consensus and areas requiring further development will be identified by the research team. This will inform our new menu planning module.

If you are a cook, director, or educator that creates menus for your child care centre or day home, please consider participating in the online survey. You will receive a $25 Chapters gift card for participating.
