Complete your full cycle journey in your Child Development Supports program with the annual Showcase of Learning! This event offers specifically designed learning opportunities for developmental support. We give your voice a platform to share your CDS program’s growing success. This event will support opportunities for round table discussions, a professional learning session with our guest speaker, and presentations from people in CDS programs.
All CDS programs are asked to save the dates for our annual Showcase of Learning. This is an amazing opportunity to connect with other childcare programs, Family Resource Networks and Home Visitation Agencies!

Showcase
Our goal is to have programs present on the success they have had in the last year of working with ASQ. This may include response rates, promotional materials you have developed, unique ways of engaging families and how you have supported children post-screenings.
All programs can work with their designated Coach on developing your presentation to share virtually with programs. Early Leaders, Family Resource Networks and Home Visitation Agencies may request support from a Coach to help them develop a plan to share information by emailing meyernikkid@gmail.com.

- Mini presentations (Using PowerPoint slides and/or other presentation tools such as: Prezi, Power Point, Time Glider…. new and interesting ways to present information- the Time Glider also enables programs to create a timeline from the time they got engaged with GRASP where they then just upload photos and/or fact blurbs over the course of the years where important changes/accomplishments occurred. - Video clips put into presentations highlighting various processes with providers, families and/or children, (remember to get photo release/consent forms if you employ this approach), are a unique and engaging way to captivate and communicate with your audience. Dr. Jean Clinton is a Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University, division of Child Psychiatry, Ontario Canada. Dr. Clinton was appointed as an education advisor to the Premier of Ontario and the Minister of Education 2014 – 2018.
Dr. Clinton is a trainer in Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model in Education (NME). She works intensively with Michael Fullan and his New Pedagogies for Deep Learning team. She is also a member on the MindUP Scientific Advisory Board, as well as a MindUp for Families advisor. Dr. Clinton was a Fellow of the Child Trauma Academy, and has been a Zero to Three Academy Fellow since 2013.
She has been a consultant to children and youth mental health programs, child welfare, and primary care for over 35years. Her special interest lies in brain development, and the crucial role relationships, belonging and connectedness play.
Jean optimistically believes that having a system of compassionate system awareness leadership, competency based, deep learning and relationally focussed education of our children and young people is the road to a better and sustainable world. Good at learning, good at life.
Dr. Clinton has authored her first book, Love Builds Brains.
Travel
Travel costs will be supported by our Grants to the nearest event venue, by the most economical means. As with other years, a second person may attend when the costs for travel are shared at a nominal fee for meals.
