This learning is designed for individual registration and is available exclusively online. Choose from a list of offerings that are scheduled in advance by ARCQE’s Professional Learning Administrator.
Site-Specific
We can tailor your learning to a specific length of time to meet the unique needs of your program for a dynamic experience. Site-specific learning is available in person or virtually.

Child Development Category
Explore a diverse range of approaches to child development. Learn about strategies and ideas that are reflective of children’s various learning styles, interests, and developmental needs to tailor your holistic approach to nurture each child’s development.
Quality Enhancement
Educators will gain insightful strategies to foster strong relationships and create safe, nurturing environments for all children. These interactive learning sessions provide early childhood educators and programs striving for high quality with the opportunity to engage in self-reflection and make intentional decisions that drive long-term, positive change.
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Deepen your insight and understanding of inclusive and equitable learning environments. Learn to broaden your awareness of culturally responsive practices, and promote diversity, ensuring every child’s unique identity is respected and supported.
Programming and Curriculum
Bring intention to the activities and provocations you provide for the children in your care by exploring different ways to observe, document, and reflect on their perspectives and experiences. Cultivate a richer understanding of current research, build positive relationships and explore new ways to support children in your programming.
Funding Opportunities for Professional Learning
Did you know that Alberta Child Care Grant Funding can be used for ARCQE Professional Learning offerings?
Eligible educators can apply for Professional Development (PD) Funding for all of ARCQE’s professional learning opportunities! Educators and/or administrators have the option to apply for PD money from the ministry in one of three ways:
- For an individual workshop such as E-Learning
- Towards a group booking, such as custom site-specific training
- Towards our annual National Child Day Conference
Release Time Funding is available to all those who qualify for Professional Development funds under the Alberta Child Care Grant Funding for all of the above options.

If you are an individual user who is not part of a group and wish to request large-scale custom training on a topic for E-learning not currently available through ARCQE’s Professional Learning, you can make a topic request.
