Nourishing Beginnings

An online nutrition program designed for Alberta Early Learning Child Care educators.

  • Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

Build your knowledge and your confidence in feeding toddlers and preschoolers.

Food is a universal experience, something we all learn and share together from birth to adulthood. Learn through this partnered training opportunity between ARCQE and the Dairy Farmers of Canada.

Learning will be delivered through two free online modules*:
Module 1 – Supporting Young Eaters
Module 2 – Learning Together with Food

Each module consists of:
– 30–60 minutes of self-directed online learning.
– 1.5–2 hours of peer-to-peer learning in a workshop.
– Practical, user-friendly resources you can download and print.
– Videos of Alberta educators sharing their experiences.
– A certificate of completion.
