Opportunities for Adventure
From New Zealand in 2016 and 2019 to Colorado in 2023, ARCQE has offered multiple study tour opportunities throughout the years for Early Childhood Educators to travel outside of Alberta and learn from the great work our peers are doing around the world. Our tours include a blend of learning activities and touring the local communities.
2023 Study Tour
Boulder Journey, Colorado
In 2023, ARCQE hosted an international Study Tour to Boulder Journey School in Boulder Colorado to learn about their exploration with early learning curriculum.
What if the experiences from which we most desperately try to shelter our children are the very ones that will enable them to be successful, joyful, and capable citizens of our world? What if, rather than telling our children to be careful, we instead put aside our own anxieties and recognize that there can be no learning and no innovation without risk?
