Listening to children is an integral part of understanding what they are feeling.
Listening to children is an integral part of understanding what they are feeling and what it is they need from their early years experience. It is important for the children who are being listened to, but also for the educators/adults who are listening as co-learners and co-researchers.
This session discusses the importance of listening to children, with tools and considerations of how we can listen better. It also considers the possibilities and challenges that we may be facing when listening to children’s voices.
Join us in exploring ways to ensure that we are truly listening to children and honouring their voices!
